Ultrapyc 7000 Solid Density Analyzer

The Ultrapyc 7000 is a high-performance gas pycnometer for determining the true and skeletal density of solids and semi-solids. It uses gas pycnometry with an inert gas to penetrate fine pores and irregular surfaces, delivering highly reliable results even for porous, irregular, or delicate solids. The instrument features TruPyc dual reference chambers for optimized accuracy across a wide range of sample volumes (0.1 cm³ to 135 cm³), a TruLock lid for repeatable chamber volume, and an intuitive touchscreen interface. It offers bi-directional gas control (reference-first PowderProtect mode for fine powders and sample-first expansion for other materials), Peltier temperature control from 3°C to 60°C, and a built-in method library for fast parameter switching. The instrument includes dedicated foam methods compliant with ASTM D6226 for streamlined testing of cellular materials. Results are obtained in less than a minute with accuracy to within 0.015%.
