Description:
The Sunflare Array SlimFit is a light, thin, flexible, and nearly invisible solar panel designed for installation between the seams of metal standing seam roofs. The module uses CIGS thin-film technology with a flexible stainless steel substrate and a polymer top sheet, making it durable against cracking, heat, wind, and cold. The SlimFit features bypass diodes on each individual cell, so when a cell is shaded, only that cell becomes inactive. Installation requires no roof penetrations; the module comes with a butyl adhesive backing that peels and sticks for a secure, water-tight hold. The metal roof must have at least 14.5 inches of flat channel between standing seams. The module is 75% lighter and 95% thinner than crystalline silicon panels.
