Sunflare Co.
Sunflare Co. is a California-based manufacturer of flexible CIGS (copper indium gallium selenide) thin-film solar panels, founded in 2009. The company is headquartered in La Verne, California, with offices in Sweden and China. Sunflare is the first company to successfully mass-produce light, thin, flexible, and durable CIGS solar panels using its proprietary Capture4 cell-by-cell manufacturing process. The company's products are designed to go where traditional solar cannot, including weak roofs, curved surfaces, and mobile applications. Sunflare modules feature a flexible stainless steel substrate, are 75% lighter and 95% thinner than crystalline silicon panels, and have bypass diodes on each individual cell for superior shade tolerance. The company's product lines include Array SlimFit for metal standing seam roofs, Flex60 for commercial flat roofs, and Xplor for mobile and off-grid applications.
