A universal transceiver device with a modem of a wire channel UPPU "Vetta-MP" provides wired communication between the elements of the notification transmission system (STI) "Vetta-2020". UPPU "VETTA-MP", depending on the application, performs the functions of an object terminal device (VET) or a repeater (RTR).

- The modem is powered by external redundant power supplies (RIP) with a voltage of 12 V via two inputs (terminals 12V1 and 12V2).
- The modem contains an electronic relay and signal output terminals “Communication line failure”. Activation (opening of contacts) is performed when the device is not communicating with the OKP.
