Well Construction design

The main activity of OAO NPO Drilling Equipment today is the development of:

• design documentation for the construction of oil and gas wells for various purposes and complexity;
• drilling programs (drilling programs);
• special specifications;
• pre-design technical and technological sections “Justification of well designs. Recommendations for the production of drilling operations. Formation and well development methods. Analysis of exploratory well wiring ”as part of project documentation for field development.

OAO NPO Burovaya Technika provides technical support for the developed project documentation when conducting examinations and approving project documentation in departmental and state expert organizations (FAA Glavgosexpertiza Rossii, State Ecological Expertise, Rosrybolovstvo, etc.).

The development of design documentation for well construction is carried out in accordance with the requirements of current regulatory documents:

• Regulation on the composition of sections of project documentation and requirements for their content (Approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 16, 2008 N 87);
• Federal norms and rules in the field of industrial safety "Safety rules in the oil and gas industry" approved by Order of the Russian Technical Supervision Authority dated 12.03.2013 No. 101;
• Federal norms and rules in the field of industrial safety “Safety rules for offshore facilities of the oil and gas complex”, approved by order of the Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service dated March 18, 2014 No. 105;
• RD 39-0148052-537-87. Layout of a working draft for the construction of oil and gas wells;
• BCH 39-86. Instructions on the composition, procedure for the development, approval and approval of design estimates for the construction of oil and gas wells;
• as well as other regulatory documents in force in the Russian Federation.

Technical calculations are carried out on the basis of current instructions and guidance documents using software developed by OAO Drilling Equipment and the Landmark (Halliburton) software package.

The structure of design estimates for well construction

Design estimates for the construction of oil and gas wells include the following sections:

• “General explanatory note (technical and technological part). Organization of well construction. "
• Section "Engineering and civil defense measures. Emergency Prevention Measures / Oil Spill Response Plan ”(“ ITM GO ChS / PLARN ”).
• Section "Environmental Protection, including Environmental Impact Assessment" ("Environmental Protection, including EIA").
• Estimated part.
