The construction of technical equipment is carried out by the Analytics, Design and Calculation sector, which performs the following research and development works: Analysis of existing structures and analogues of the developed drilling equipment and tools. Development of proposals for import substitution. Improvement and development of new designs of downhole tools and equipment. Engineering support in the manufacture of new equipment. Service support of manufactured equipment at the enterprises of customers.
Overview:

In 2019, the following works were performed:

a) field trials continued:

- drill string oscillator;

- shock absorber damping axial and torsional vibrations;

b) the design of the drill string oscillator was adjusted according to the results of field tests:

- creation of a downhole complex for drilling process automation.

In 2020, the following activities are scheduled to be completed:

- continue field tests of the drill string oscillator;

- continue to develop a downhole complex for drilling process automation;

- to develop a high-tight threaded connection with a metal-metal seal for thin-walled structures.

Drill string oscillator

The device provides:

- reduced likelihood of sticking;

- reduction of the hang of the drill string;

- bringing the axial load in the horizontal shaft by reducing friction;

- the possibility of drilling horizontal wells with large waste.

Axial and torsional vibration damper

Designed to reduce the impact on the BHA elements of axial and torsional shock loads that occur during drilling.

It provides an increase in the durability of bits, VZD, drill pipes, telemetry system, etc. by 15-20% compared with the basic drilling technology without shock absorbers in comparable geological and technical conditions.

Downhole complex for drilling process automation

The basis for the development was taken a device for downhole automatic regulation of the VZD, in particular, to maintain within the specified limits the operating-technological parameters of the work, such as pressure drop, load on the bit. Taking into account that these parameters are interconnected, it was accepted by us that it is enough to ensure that within a given range one parameter is maintained, for example, a pressure drop, which will ensure the stability of the airway itself.
