RT3 is the next generation Wireless Seismic registration system that provides full real-time data transfer, expandable to over 250,000 channels. RT3 is focused on providing better data on subsurface resources, as well as reducing capital and operating costs. This is possible due to higher automation of the system, low cost of equipment and a significant reduction in the weight of components, which entails a reduction in the cycle time, the number of personnel and the duration of the harmful effects on the environment.
Overview:
RT3 has the latest two-tier radio telemetry architecture, which allows you to expand RT3 to a large number of channels, compared with conventional systems. The RT3 system provides the most flexible placement geometry, no longer limited to several “2D lines”, which was previously caused by traditional cable systems. A fully automated system provides for the formation and organization of an RT3 system radio network with minimal user intervention.
RT3 consists of ultralight recording devices (Motes) and high-performance ground-based relay units (GRU), controlled by an automated central recording system - a seismic station with an intuitive interface recording system. In addition, RT3 fully supports the Wireless Seismic hybrid radio telemetry system, which allows for uninterrupted seismic exploration, even in the event of loss of radio communication with some of the involved devices.
