Yaskawa America, Inc.

Yaskawa America, Inc. is a U.S. corporation and a wholly‑owned subsidiary of Yaskawa Electric Corporation of Japan, which was founded in 1915. It was created to provide automation solutions and support to customers in North, Central and South America. The Drives & Motion Division manufactures industrial automation equipment, including AC drives, servo systems, machine controllers, medium voltage drives, and explosion‑proof motors. The company is known for its commitment to quality and is the only industrial drives and motion control manufacturer to have won the Deming Prize. Yaskawa America employs over 1,000 people and is consolidated its Illinois and Wisconsin operations into a new campus in Franklin, Wisconsin.
