Glas-Col, LLC is a world-leading manufacturer of laboratory products and industrial heating and mixing technology. Founded in 1939, the company was born out of a need in the chemical research industry to produce a better device for heating chemicals. The founder was injured in a laboratory fire when heating chemicals over an open flame; in his spare time, he and his wife developed the heating mantle, which remains the standard in laboratory heating to this day. Over 80 years later, Glas-Col has expanded its product offering to include mixing, instrumentation, evaporation, and air purification equipment. The company's standard line of heating mantles is considered the industry standard for laboratory heating. Glas-Col manufactures ductless fume hoods and Tabletop Cleanroom Series products used in the fields of medicine, research, and countless industries. Quality products are manufactured in the United States and shipped globally to over 30 countries. Glas-Col has been ISO certified for over two decades and was inducted into the Indiana Manufacturers Association Hall of Fame in 2020. In August 2024, the company received the Governor's Half Century Award for 85 years of continuous operation in Indiana.
