The Deepwater Atlas is a state-of-the-art ultra‑deepwater drillship designed and built by Jurong Shipyard, Singapore (Espadon JE3T design). It entered service in 2022 and is operated by Transocean. The vessel is DNV‑classified (+1A1, Ship Shaped Drilling Unit, E0, DYNPOS AUTRO, DRILL, CRANE, HELDK, BIS, MPD) and sails under the flag of the Marshall Islands.
