This larger rotary kiln processes up to 1000 tonnes per day of cement clinker. The steel barrel rotates slowly on support rollers, with a 3.5% slope. A 160 kW motor drives the kiln. Fuel is sprayed into the kiln head, exhaust gases exit through the kiln end.
