RS Series – Worm Gearbox

The RS Series is a range of worm gearboxes specifically designed for universal mounting and applications requiring small or medium power ratings. The gearboxes are manufactured with die‑cast aluminium housings and covers up to size 85, and cast iron from size 110 upwards. The standard worm wheel features a cast iron hub with a phosphor bronze gear rim; for heavy‑duty applications, spheroidal cast iron hubs are available for superior mechanical strength. The gearbox features a hollow output shaft as standard, with optional solid output shaft (single AS or double AD) available. The RS Series offers a modular concept with low maintenance requirements and extended service life. Ratios up to 100:1 are available in single‑stage versions, and two‑stage versions (RS/RS) achieve ratios up to 10,000:1. Most products are available in ATEX‑certified versions.
