JSC "Tactical Missiles Corporation"

The Tactical Missiles Corporation (KTRV) was created within the framework of the federal target program "Reform and Development of the Defense-Industrial Complex (2002-2006)" and in pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 84 dated 24.01.2002. The Corporation as an integrated structure was formed by transforming the federal state unitary enterprise "State Research and Production Center "Zvezda-Strela" (Korolev) into the joint-stock company "Tactical Missiles Corporation" and transferring shares of a number of enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of Russia to its authorized capital. The registration of the corporation was completed in March 2003. The strategic goal of the creation of KTRV was the preservation and development of the scientific and production potential of rocket production, ensuring the defense capability of the state, mobilizing resources for the creation of highly effective guided missiles and air, land, and sea-based weapons systems, strengthening Russia's position in the global arms market. The priority areas of the Corporation's activities are: development, production, modernization of strategic and tactical air-to-surface and air-to-air precision weapons systems and unified naval weapons systems, domestic rocket and space technology and electronic equipment, as well as products created on the basis of dual-use technologies in the fields of aerospace, information technology and renewable energy; repair and maintenance of previously manufactured products; ensuring the fulfillment of contracts for the export of military products, their after-sales service, as well as organizing licensed production of products in the territory of partners (customer countries). The Corporation has the right to carry out independent foreign trade activities for the maintenance and repair of export models, including the supply of spare parts, units of training and military equipment, and personnel training. The unconditional priority in the activities of KTRV is the fulfillment of the state defense order, the development of promising types of weapons for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. As part of the production diversification program, the Corporation has significantly expanded the output of civilian and dual-use products. The scientific and production potential of KTRV allows us to develop and supply high-tech products for space, aviation, shipbuilding and mechanical engineering, medicine, fuel and energy, metallurgy, chemical industries, and housing and communal services.
