JSC "Rostvertol"
PJSC Rostvertol (Rostov Helicopter Production Complex Rostvertol Public Joint Stock Company) is a Russian aircraft manufacturing company and the aircraft manufacturing enterprise of the same name of the Russian Helicopters holding company of the Rostec state corporation. The aircraft plant was founded in 1939. During the Great Patriotic War and in the post-war period, the enterprise specialized in the production of military aircraft. In particular, it produced Il-40 attack aircraft. In the mid-1950s, the plant switched to the production of helicopters. It mastered the production of Mi-6 and Mi-10, and Mi-24 combat strike systems. Currently, the plant produces Mi-26 heavy transport and assault helicopters and Mi-35 and Mi-28 combat systems. The company supplies products to China, Brazil, Indonesia and Myanmar.
