Maxon RE-motors are high-quality DC motors, equipped with powerful permanent magnets. The centerpiece of the brushed DC motor is the ironless rotor for compact, powerful drives with low inertia. As a result of their low mass moment of inertia, the brushed DC motors of the RE series feature high acceleration. In addition, maxon RE motors can be modified very quickly in accordance with customer specifications.
