The Åby Forester’s Axe (formerly known as Akka) features a 1.5 lb. head with an approximate 3.125” cutting edge, hand-forged from high-quality Swedish steel at the historic Hults Bruk forge. Designed for versatility, it excels at light chopping, carving, and limbing tasks. The straight, flat-ground edge and finger notch near the neck make carving and controlled cuts easy. The 24” curved American hickory handle provides excellent reach and control while remaining compact enough for packability on outdoor adventures.
