HISOL HC inhibiting additive is an environmentally friendly and non-toxic white powder for water-based drilling fluids. It inhibits clay hydration and swelling, strengthens the wellbore, seals pores, encapsulates cuttings, provides lubrication, and is effective in all clay types, regardless of their composition or pore water salinity.

Powder, particles up to 500 microns, completely soluble; dosage 0.5–0.8%; for primary treatment — 5% concentrate; inert to petroleum products; stable down to -20°C; reduces viscosity, ensures clay sedimentation; creates an insulating layer; the effect lasts for a long time; does not contain LHCOS and QACs.
