APR Drilling fluid Defoamer

A multi-component, composite silicone drilling fluid defoamer is primarily an emulsion of highly hydrophobic silicone oils. Containing active ingredients (polysiloxanes), a liquid with exceptionally low surface tension, and selectively incompatible and insoluble polysiloxanes act as antifoaming agents. Properties of APR drilling fluid defoamer: A viscous, yellowish-gray liquid, miscible with water in any ratio. Appearance: A cream-colored, oily liquid, soluble in water. Mixing procedure: Water is added to the defoamer mass and thoroughly mixed and ground. The desired concentration is achieved through successive dilutions. The working concentration is 0.5-10 ppm. The defoamer operates over a wide temperature range of -20 to +120°C, at a pH of 2-12. The reagent is added to the drilling fluid through a dosing tank installed at the beginning of the circulation system. The optimal concentration of the reagent added to the drilling fluid depends on the degree of foaming. In addition to the oil production and refining industries, APR defoamer is used in various industries, including textiles, paints, and varnishes, and in the production of agrochemicals. Thanks to its special formulation, the defoamer is stable during transportation and storage under various conditions.
