Oktamix PG (clay Swelling Inhibitor)

OKTAMIX PG is an effective clay swelling inhibitor based on a mixture of ethylene and propylene glycols, as well as butyl ethers of glycols. APPLICATION: Designed to ensure highly efficient drilling in oil and gas field development conditions. OKTAMIX PG is designed to inhibit unstable clay deposits. It effectively suppresses the hydration and swelling of clay particles. OKTAMIX PG mixes easily with drilling fluids, so no special equipment is required to disperse the reagent in the system. It is an improved analogue of Atren PG. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE: The recommended concentration of the chemical product is from 10 to 60 kg/m3. ADVANTAGES: Causes electrostatic neutralization of clay particles. Promotes coagulation of cuttings particles, facilitating their separation in the cleaning system, reducing the production of clay in the solution. Reduces the risk of balling and differential sticking. Provides good lubricating properties. Stabilizes the filtration and rheological properties of drilling fluids. STORAGE: Store the product in a closed container in a dry, clean area, away from flammable materials, heat sources, and direct sunlight. Recommended storage temperature: 5–35°C. Avoid deep freezing.
