The cationic copolymer MAX HIB acts as a clay suspension stabilizer, filtration reducer, fluidizer, bactericide, and clay swelling and dispersion inhibitor. It ensures a low concentration of the colloidal fraction in the solution and improves wellbore stability. It is not subject to salt and polysalt coagulation. It does not degrade its properties when exposed to hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. It is compatible with cement slurries. It is not compatible with lignosulfonates, humates, silicates, and anionic surfactants.
