• The Drillmec HH-220 is a 1,000 HP class fully automated hydraulic drilling rig designed for high mobility and safety in onshore drilling operations. It is characterized by its use of a hydraulic cylinder for hoisting rather than a traditional drawworks and mast system. 

Key Technical Specifications

• Static Hook Load: 200 metric tons (440,000 lbs).
• Pull Down Capacity: 20 metric tons (44,000 lbs).
• Maximum Drilling Depth: Typically up to 3,800–4,000 meters (approx. 13,000 ft) depending on drill pipe size.
• Top Drive:
  • Max Torque: Ranges from 3,370 daNm (approx. 24,850 lbf·ft) up to 3,584 daNm depending on the specific model configuration (FA, SA, or EC).
  • Max Speed: Up to 200 RPM.
• Hoisting System: Telescopic mast with a top drive stroke of approximately 16 meters (52.5 ft).

• Automated Pipe Handling: Features a vertical pipe rack and a hydraulic manipulator that handles drill pipe stands automatically from the ground to the well center.
• Power System: Usually powered by two 500kW electric motors or dedicated diesel generators (e.g., Caterpillar C32 or 3512 sets).
• Mud Pumps: Typically equipped with two Drillmec 9T1000 or 12T1600 triplex pumps rated for 1,000–1,600 HP.
• Driller's Cabin: A centralized, ergonomic "Cyber" cabin with PLC-controlled touchscreens for managing all drilling parameters and automatic sequences.
