The adaptive vibrational seismic survey “AVISeys®” is a new field-based technology that has no analogues and is based on the improvement of the “Vibroseis” method. The technology is based on the use of nonlinear sweep signals adapted to the seismic and geological conditions of each excitation site on the profile, in contrast to the standard method in which a single excitation signal form (sweep signal) is used for the entire profile and the entire studied area. The disadvantage of the standard method is the impossibility of flexible accounting for the surface and deep seismogeological conditions of the work area that vary along the profile. In AVISeys® technology, the adaptation of the signal to each excitation site is carried out automatically based on the analysis of the frequency response of the seismic record in the target interval and its inversion at the adapted sweep level. To implement the technology, specialized GDS-II® vibrator control units are used (a new certified development of Geophysical Data Systems LLC) and special EQUALIZER software installed on all existing types of vibrators and seismic stations. As a result of using AVISeys®, the effect of expanding the spectrum of the signal, increasing the resolution of the reflected waves is achieved, the dynamic characteristics of the recording are stabilized on the work area.
