Laboratory OF Organic Geochemistry JSC "Irkutskgeophysics"

The Laboratory of Organic Geochemistry tests the whole range of petroleum products sold, including gasolines (automobile, straight-run, BGS), diesel fuels, oils (motor, transmission, hydraulic, transformer, etc.), fuel oil, nefras, distillates, heating oil, marine fuel, jet fuel for compliance with applicable regulatory documents.

The laboratory studies the general composition and properties of natural oils, condensates and gases; ensures the performance of work to determine the quality indicators of the composition of the commercial oil entering the pipelines; conducts laboratory tests for a comprehensive study of the quality of petroleum feeds supplied to refineries.

The laboratory provides laboratory testing services for liquefied hydrocarbon gas with the issuance of a Quality Certificate for commercial products, conducts tests for certification of stable condensate and natural gas separated in accordance with relevant GOSTs and OSTs; carries out analytical control of commodity products of condensate, propane-butane fraction and operational samples for testing the technological regime of a pilot industrial unit for processing (preparing) gas of UPG.

The laboratory carries out a set of studies to determine the composition of the reservoir gas, which provides for the separation of the gas condensate mixture into gas and condensate components and the determination of their component and individual hydrocarbon compositions; performs laboratory analyzes to determine the component composition and physico-chemical properties of the flows, followed by an assessment of the quality of the produced mixture in order to study production wells.

Based on the study of the commodity properties of oil and gas condensate obtained at production wells, the laboratory determines the value of the fluids and recommends methods for their processing for the potential production of appropriate petroleum products.
