RPA VISCO-ELASTOGRAPH (Rubber Process Analyzer)

The GÖTTFERT Rubber Process Analyzer (RPA) is a dynamic mechanical rheometer used to analyze rubber compounds in a plastic state, during vulcanization, and with vulcanized samples. The lower half of the die is controlled with a sinusoidal rotary movement, while the upper half measures torque and phase angle of the sample. With 45 years of experience in rubber compound testing, the RPA delivers precise, repeatable, and reliable results. The instrument offers significantly more flexibility than conventional Moving Die Rheometers (MDR), allowing wide-range programmable control of deflection frequency and amplitude. Together with fast temperature control, the RPA performs fully automatic ramp, relaxation, frequency, amplitude, and temperature sweep tests. The device features standardized and customer-specific test chambers, deformation or stress-controlled operation, and temperature up to 230°C with extremely fast temperature control. Optional units include an autoloader for 5 and 30 samples, volume punch, normal force measurement, and torque calibration.
