FIELD Processing OF Seismic DATA

Field VCs directly at the place of work allow for the correction of the production process, in the case of substandard data. The presence of a field CC for further processing and interpretation of seismic data is the key to obtaining high-quality primary material.

Quality control of field work in a batch is carried out at all stages:

• quality control of topographic and geodetic works (accuracy of binding and installation of PV and PP, quality of preparation of seismic profiles);
• quality control of the source of excitation (accuracy of its location, depth of charge, quality of capping, fullness of the explosion);

• control of the registration system (reception arrangement and recording equipment);
• quality control of field primary materials;
• pre-processing of data on the field CC;
• All materials are collected in a single field database and are subsequently used for processing.

Field processing of seismic data includes the following processing procedures.
