ESHN rod elevator - a mechanism designed to raise and lower deep-sucker rods into the well. The parameters of steel serving as raw materials for elevators, as well as other technical characteristics of this equipment allow its use in regions with a moderate and cold climate - up to -45 degrees Celsius. The regions of the Russian Federation in which the operation of rod elevators is allowed are described in GOST 16350, the placement is in accordance with category I of the GOST 15150 standard. The ESH is used for ongoing repair work and overhaul of oil and gas industry wells that are in operation.

ESHN-5 rod elevator is capable of gripping and holding pump rods of the following diameters: 12, 16, 19 and 22 millimeters. ESHN-10 also serves rods with a diameter of 25 mm. According to the largest diameter of the gripping rods, the diameter of the elevator sling is different, respectively. For diameters of 16.19.22 mm, a separate sleeve + insert pair is used, for sizes 12 and 25 mm - another pair of parts.

The open-throat ESH elevator case is equipped with an eccentric ring groove with a replaceable sleeve placed in it, which, in turn, is connected to the handle by means of a hinge. Opening and closing the elevator is done by turning the handle. In order to protect the ESH case from wear, a replaceable insert is attached to its body.
