IK are designed to protect oilfield equipment and pipelines of oil collection and transportation systems, waste water disposal and reservoir pressure maintenance systems. They are complex compositions of surfactants — alkylimidazolines, amidoimidazolines, amines, hydroxyalkylated amines, phosphorus-containing organic compounds in various solvents.

Corrosion inhibitors are represented by three types:

water soluble
oil soluble
water-dispersible (oil-soluble).

The main properties of corrosion inhibitors of the Efril series:

perfectly protect against carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide corrosion;
possess high adsorption activity in relation to metal surfaces;
provide reliable protection in highly mineralized environments containing dissolved carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide;
possess excellent operational characteristics, low working dosage;
completely prevent general and ulcerative corrosion;
compatible with major oil preparation reagents.

Among the inhibitors there is a variant of the volatile, atmospheric type.
