Multiplexer Dslam16-IP2
Description
The ADSL technology, supported in the DSLAM16-IP2 multiplexer, provides access to broadband IP networks using the high-frequency part of the telephone line spectrum to transmit information, while connecting to subscriber devices can be carried out using ordinary twisted copper telephone wires up to a distance of 6.5 km. ADSL uses an asymmetric data transfer model, while the speed in the direction of Upstream (from the subscriber) can be up to 1 Mbps, and the speed in the direction of Downstream (to the subscriber) reaches values up to 12 Mbps (for ADSL2 + up to 24 Mbps) .

Functions
- DSLAM16-IP2 implements all the necessary functions to create a secure, high-speed wired network: support for ADSL / ADSL2 / ADSL2 + standards, support for the Fast Ethernet standard, the mechanism for ensuring high-quality data transmission (QoS - Quality of Service), as well as many additional functions.
- The multiplexer is equipped with sixteen ADSL ports for connecting subscriber devices to the ADSL lines and an Ethernet port that can be used to connect an administrator's computer or Fast Ethernet Switch. Also, the device has a port for communication with a debugging computer via RS-232.
- To manage and configure the DSLAM16-IP2, a simple and convenient built-in WEB interface is used, which can also be used to update software, download and save the configuration.
- As part of the IPN digital operational communication system, the DSLAM16-IP2 multiplexer provides switching of digital communication channels between the network administrator's computer or subscriber devices connected via Ethernet and ADSL streams used to access subscriber devices that have the ADSL interface. At the same time, the full-scale operation of subscriber ADSL devices that are part of the IPN system is implemented.
