Type of coverage - basic. OK 48P consumable electrodes with a basic coating are designed for high-performance manual arc welding of carbon and low-alloy structural steels of pearlite class with tensile strength up to 540 MPa and reinforcing steels of class A240 and A300. It forms a flat seam with an easily removable slag crust. A well-balanced slag system ensures stable arc burning and makes it easy to weld in all spatial positions.

Welding productivity is 12-15% higher than that of electrodes of UONII type.
