Bitsentric DBA drill bits, equipped with diamond carbide cutters, are designed for drilling with simultaneous expansion of the wellbore in soft rocks and rocks of medium hardness with low abrasiveness. Hard-alloy and diamond-hard-alloy (Slavutich material) inserts are installed in the calibrating surfaces. They are used to expand the sidetracks from previously drilled cased wells, as well as to expand the wellbore in the production interval in order to increase the production rate of the well.
