Mobile complex for welding pipelines MKST

Complex implements automatic welding process of the outer heads on the motor centralizer copper backing ring in constricted bevels continuous wire electrode in a mixture of Ar / CO ₂ (80/20).

The complex provides automatic welding of fixed joints of pipelines, based on the following technological approaches:

• accuracy of assembly of the joint due to regrinding of edges and assembly on a self-propelled hydraulic centralizer with a "zero" gap;
• comfort and quality of welding due to programming of welding modes by sectors of the joint;
• the use of solid wire Ø1.2 mm and standard welding mixture Ar / CO2 (80/20) for welding all layers of the weld;
• productivity increase due to:
  • reducing the volume of cutting the joint;
  • use of welding wire Ø1.2mm;
  • high speed welding of the root layer of the seam on a copper washer ring;
  • combining operations of heating the joint and welding the root pass in one tent;
  • moving the centralizer to the next joint immediately after welding the root passage;

The MKST complex includes:

• a machine for machining pipe edges MPK 12-14 with a hydroelectric station;
• centralizer internal hydraulic self-propelled CVRC 142 with a copper washer ring;
• installation of induction heating of the joint ППЧ50-10;
• assembly <self-propelled welding MKST-34 , based on the MOROOKA tractor, with a manipulator, kung, diesel power station. The number of units in the complex is determined by the necessary pace of welding, depending on the thickness of the pipe wall;
• welding equipment - automatic welding heads UAST-1 "Alpha" with sources DS400.33M (2 units), source DS400.33M for manual arc welding (1 unit), backup source DS400.33M (1 unit);
• protective tents ;
• mobile workshop for setting up, repairing equipment and storing spare parts.
