Electric double girder Overhead Travelling crane

THE TWO-BEAM BRIDGE CRANE CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING main elements:

• Crane trolleys (end beams) 2 pcs (ensure the movement of the crane along the crane runway.
• Half-bridges 2 pcs (are the supporting structure of the crane and the path for moving the crane cargo trolley along the length of the crane span
• Crane trolley 1 pc.* is used for lifting, lowering and moving cargo
• * Cranes of this type can be equipped with two cargo trolleys.

With this crane design, two half-bridges are installed on the crane trolleys (end beams), along which the crane (cargo) trolley moves. The crane itself is installed on the crane runway.

The advantages of this design include:

• Application of these cranes with large spans and lifting capacities
• Allows to minimize the crane's construction height
• rigid construction

Such a crane can be controlled by the crane operator from the cabin, as well as directly by remote control.

The double-girder overhead travelling crane can be equipped with devices for smooth starting of the mechanism and lifting and lowering of the load, as well as smooth acceleration and braking of the mechanism for moving the crane along the crane runway.
