The KB-474A tower crane with an upper slew is designed for the optimal mechanization of construction and installation works during the construction of residential, civil and industrial buildings and structures of increased number of storeys with the mass of the installed elements up to 8 tons. It is ideal for monolithic construction. The KB-474A crane is a single modernized unified model and replaces the previously produced KB-473 and KB-474 cranes, which is ensured by a balanced range of standard sizes, modular and variable design. KB-474A differs from the previously produced cranes of the Rzhev Crane Plant in its increased load and height characteristics. Rich basic equipment and a wide range of options for expanding the configuration are designed to create and deliver a product in strict accordance with the consumer's requirements and expectations in the price-quality-technical capabilities ratio. Unification of the model with KB-473 and KB-474 allows for an optimal expansion of the fleet of previously purchased and mastered construction machines. Each factory sample is accompanied by a passport of technological history for subsequent service support and technical support. More than a quarter of previously released machines have special engineering solutions for non-standard technical operating conditions. The height of a free-standing stationary crane on a foundation after modernization is 54 m. It is possible to use sections of 12 m and 8 m in height to speed up installation. The basic model allows increasing the lifting height to 174 m. The maximum possible lifting height of the load is 234 m. When increasing the height, the crane is attached to the building with technological connections. The crane is installed by building up using a hydraulic installation device. The crane can be equipped in a "city" version without a mounting clamp with sections of increased height.
