Chisel Tool (FX / FY)

The most commonly used tool in demolition jobs. MERIT chisels come standard in a cross-cut configuration (FX), designed to cut at a right angle to the stick and boom. In-line (FY) chisels are also available upon request.

Moil Point Tool (P)

Designed with a pointed tip that allows debris and dust to disperse on all sides, increasing penetration speed and effectiveness.

• General demolition

Blunt Tool (E)

Engineered with a large, flat surface to deliver powerful shattering force while maintaining maximum stability.

Applications:

• Breaking concrete slabs and bridge decking
• Oversize material
• Slag removal

Core Tool (PC)

A MERIT innovation, the Core Tool is reinforced with a patented carbide steel core, offering unmatched durability and performance in demanding applications. Designed for hydraulic hammers from size PH2 to GH50 and compatible equivalents.

Applications:

• Hard rock breaking
• General demolition

Advantages:

• Sharp tip maintained longer – outer steel wears faster than the carbide core
• Reduced tool tip temperature (less than 1000 °F), minimizing hardness loss and deformation
• Significantly extended tool life – fewer replacements, lower operational costs

Frost Cutter Tool

Available in cross-cut or in-line configuration. Engineered for efficient frost penetration during excavation.

Asphalt Cutter Tool
