GEOSCAN-R is a dual-zone logging tool for measuring the resistivity of rocks while drilling (LWD). The device is used for geosteering with the aim of separating aquifers and oil-bearing media and operational adjustment of the trajectory of wells during drilling. GEOSCAN-R can be equipped with a pressure measurement during drilling (PWD) and can be used to monitor changes in reservoir pressure.

The standard operating frequency is 2 MHz,
The ability to use in all types of solutions with a density of at least 900 kg / m ³ , including salt and oil,
Full compatibility with the GKS ™ family of telemetry systems with a hydraulic communication channel,
The power source is a generator, the performance of the device does not depend on the battery life,
The coding of measurements is carried out by the GKS inclinometry module; surface data is transmitted as part of a drilling frame,
It is possible to record measurements in the device memory with a frequency of 8-200 s (depending on the speed of penetration),
A software package is provided with the device, which includes a module for correcting indications for well conditions (drilling fluid, the ratio of the diameter of the device to the diameter of the well), geo-navigation and interpretation modules.
