The Center for Physical and Chemical Research performs a wide range of various studies, mainly chemical-analytical and physical-chemical. In addition to the services and tests included in the field of accreditation of the CPHI, a potential customer may be offered services for testing oils, petroleum products, chemicals, rocks, field fluids using non-standardized methods, prospecting studies, including the possibility of manufacturing and using specialized testing equipment . The Center for Physical and Chemical Research (CFHI) is a testing analytical laboratory of Petroengineering LLC, created with the goal of continuous monitoring of the quality of produced and supplied chemical products, production of reagents, as well as supporting the activities of the Drilling Mud Administration.

The main functions of the CFHI:

quality control of chemicals for the oil and gas industry;
development of drilling fluid systems;
reagent production;
calibration of laboratory equipment;
development of methods for field and laboratory control of the parameters of drilling fluids and reagents for their preparation;
research and development in the field of increasing the stability of the borehole walls, preventing the absorption of flushing fluids, preserving the permeability of the bottomhole zone of the borehole.

The Central Scientific and Research Institute of Physics and Technology was created in 2010 with the assistance of the Research Laboratory of Physical Methods for the Study of Formation Fluids and Field Dispersed Systems of the I.M. Gubkina (Moscow).
