Description:
UNIBAFOG is a solution of modified amines based on plant-derived fatty acids in a solvent mixture. It is used as a hydrophobic agent for weighting agents and drilling cuttings, preventing the wetting of solid particles by water in hydrocarbon-based solutions. Using UNIBAFOG improves thermal, rheological, and emulsion stability, and reduces the risk of contamination of drilling fluids with drilling cuttings.
Overview:
Compatible with all types of hydrocarbon base oils: diesel fuel, mineral, and synthetic oils. Maintains its effectiveness over a wide temperature range.
The recommended working concentration of the material is in the range of 3.0-10.0 l/m3 depending on the type of hydrocarbon base, the required properties of the final emulsion and other components of the system.
