BSR Borosilicate Reagent
BSR reagent
(Borosilicate clay swelling inhibitor)
TU 2458-022-95901562-2012
Purpose of the BSR
The BSR reagent is intended for use in the oil and gas production industry as a component of process fluids used in the construction and overhaul of wells, in conditions of swelling, crumbling, dispersing, clay-containing rocks.
Description of BSR
The "BSR" reagent is an aqueous solution or powder containing sodium tetraborate, sodium tripolyphosphate, and sodium silicate salts, and is classified as a fire- and explosion-proof material.
Application of BSR
BSR reagent mixes easily with drilling fluids. It is effective in water-based solutions at a concentration of 0.2% to 0.4% per cubic meter of drilling fluid.
