Seismic Exploration 2D and 3D

Uzbekgeofizika JSC conducts regional, prospecting, detailed prospecting, and exploratory seismic exploration work, as well as the preparation of oil and gas prospects for exploratory drilling.

The products of the field geophysical service of JSC Uzbekgeofizika are:

• results of field production geophysical research and thematic works, in the form of geological reports and recommendations;

• results of processing and interpretation of field geophysical data with the issuance of relevant conclusions and recommendations;

• preparation of objects and relevant documentation (passports) for transfer to exploratory drilling, and monitoring of promising areas being drilled;

• initial and final field geophysical materials, time sections, seismic cubes in electronic formats seg-d and seg-y; structural and other maps;

• long-term and operational planning of geophysical work to ensure the growth of hydrocarbon reserves in the Republic of Uzbekistan;

• systematic replenishment of geological and geophysical funds, ensuring their use in accordance with the established procedure;

• preparation of design estimates and other regulatory technical and methodological documentation for geophysical work, provision of scientific and technical information;

• results of reprocessing and reinterpretation of field geophysical materials from previous years.

Uzbekgeofizika JSC is equipped with modern, high-tech multichannel seismic systems from leading global manufacturers, such as INOVA (USA), SERCEL (France), and the Special Design Bureau of Seismic Instruments (SKB, Russia); and the latest hardware and software system for processing and interpreting field data, PARADIGM (Netherlands).
