Description:
The Petrophysics Laboratory of Uzbekgeofizika JSC has been conducting research for over 50 years. Its primary objective has been and remains obtaining objective data on reservoir physics and substantiating the petrophysical and reservoir rock parameters for estimating reserves in oil, gas, and gas condensate fields.
Overview:
Today, the Laboratory is equipped with modern analytical equipment and software (Coretest Systems Inc. (USA)), allowing the study of the composition and properties of reservoir rocks in both atmospheric and reservoir conditions.
The quality of services provided, the level of technical equipment, and the many years of experience of our staff allow the Laboratory to fruitfully collaborate with organizations such as:

The laboratory, being a multidisciplinary division, conducts analyses in the following main areas of activity:
- Cleaning and preparation of core samples for research
- Photographing core samples in daylight and ultraviolet light
- Conducting gamma-spectral and gamma-density logging on a full-diameter core
- Determination of the bulk density coefficient
- Determination of the mineralogical density coefficient
- Determination of the open porosity coefficient by various methods.
- Determination of absolute gas permeability parallel and perpendicular to bedding
- Determination of the porosity and permeability coefficient under reservoir conditions
- Determination of the residual water saturation coefficient by capillary metry
- Determination of the residual water saturation coefficient by centrifugation
- Determination of the coefficient of permeability of rock for liquid
- Definition of Specific Electrical Resistivity at 100% and Variable Water Saturation
- Definition of Specific Electrical Resistivity when Modeling Current Water Saturation (5 Stages) (under Atmospheric Conditions)
- Velocity of longitudinal and transverse waves in atmospheric and reservoir conditions
- Determination of the effective permeability coefficient (at residual water saturation)
- Calculation of dynamic elastic properties of rocks under reservoir conditions: shear modulus, Poisson's ratio, bulk modulus, Young's modulus
- Definition of Wettability of Rocks
- Determination of residual water saturation by capillary metering and recording of capillary pressure curves with calculation of relative phase permeabilities in the gas-water system
- Definition of phase permeability in the oil-water or gas-water system
- Definition Evaluation of the influence of drilling mud penetration on the filtration properties of rocks
