IE2 Three-Phase Induction Motor (also Available as IE3)

These three‑phase induction motors comply with efficiency class IE2 or IE3 according to IEC 60034-30:2008 and IEC 60034-2‑1:2007. They are available with 2, 4, or 6 poles and cover a power range from 0.75 kW to 315 kW. The motors are rated for continuous duty (S1) and feature thermal class F insulation, with frame sizes up to 315 operating at thermal class B for extended service life. Factory‑fitted motor protection is provided by three PTC thermistors. The motors are suitable for operation with MSF-Vathauer frequency inverters. Standard protection rating is IP55, making them resistant to dust and water jets. The housing is designed as ‘Multi Mounting’ with removable feet that can also be attached to the sides, allowing the terminal box to be positioned on the left or right as required. Optional features include forced ventilation (external fan), encoders (position feedback), connection cables, holding brakes, and ATEX certification for explosive atmospheres. Custom flanges and adapter flanges are available upon request. The motors comply with footprint dimensions according to IEC standards (B3, B14, B5, B34, B35 mounting configurations).
