HKR Series – High Voltage Tube‑Cooled Squirrel‑Cage Motor

A high voltage squirrel‑cage motor with tube cooling (cooling method IC511 / TEPV – totally enclosed, tube‑cooled). It is available in IEC frame sizes 450 to 1320, with a power range up to 10,000 kW and a voltage up to 15,000 V. The motor can be started using Direct‑On‑Line (DOL), soft starter, or VFD, and operates at speeds up to 3,600 rpm when driven by a VFD. Standard mounting designs are IM B3 (IM1001), IM B5 (IM3001), and IM V1 (IM3011), with special designs available on request. Protection rating is up to IP55, and insulation class is F or H. The motor is available with special certification for explosion‑protected (ATEX, IECEx), marine, and nuclear applications. It complies with IEC 60034 or NEMA MG1.
