The Harsh Duty® synchronous AC generator is a rugged industrial generator built for continuous operation in hot, dusty, or humid environments. It features reinforced windings with multiple dip & bake varnish cycles and a fully encapsulated exciter stator. The heavy-duty rectifier assembly handles voltage surges and over-current, with diodes rated at 300% beyond worst-case design. Selenium surge suppressors are standard on models 360 frame size and larger. The generator includes a top-mounted connection box with link board and an SE350E voltage regulator (optional PM500, DVR2400, or PMG). Available with single or double bearing, IP22 or IP23 drip covers, space heater, and oversized box. Designed for quarries, mining, chemical plants, construction, oil & gas, refineries, and motion picture industry.
