The TerraMAX® Cast Iron Motor is a high-power, severe duty motor designed for the most arduous industrial conditions, specifically for the mining industry. It is a 503 HP, 1500 RPM three‑phase motor with IE2 efficiency class. The motor features a robust cast iron frame, Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) enclosure with IP55 protection, and is suitable for variable torque duty (10:1). It conforms to IEC 60034 standards, uses Class F insulation with Class B temperature rise, and includes a bi‑directional fan. The motor is built for horizontal orientation and comes with a 50°C ambient temperature rating.
