Description:
The M 90 S is a DC motor from the M series, designed for industrial drives requiring easy and smooth speed regulation. It features a shunt or separate excitation and is available in several cooling and enclosure variants (IC 01, IC 05, IC 17, IC 37, IC 410, IC 411) and degrees of protection (IP 23, IP 44, IP 55). The motor is four‑pole (except M 90 which is two‑pole). It is built according to IEC 34‑1 and ČSN standards. Speed can be controlled by armature voltage variation (constant torque) or field weakening (constant power). The motor is suitable for operation from thyristor converters.
