Description:
The PED series submersible asynchronous three-phase, squirrel-cage, oil-filled, two-pole electric motors are designed for continuous operation from an AC power supply to drive centrifugal and screw pumps. Standard PED motors are available in sizes of 103, 117, and 130 mm. Power ranges from 8 to 400 kW (at 50 Hz). Frequency variations are permitted within 35–70 Hz, provided the rated current is not exceeded. Design options include single-, two-, and three-section motors. All manufactured electric motors feature a star-connected stator phase with a neutral conductor located at the bottom of the motor. Control stations control the motor's start, operation, and protection during emergency operation.

Advantages and design features: manufacturing and assembly strictly adhere to technologies, instructions, and methods developed based on the experience of leading domestic and international companies. 100% incoming quality control is performed on materials and components manufactured under cooperation agreements. 100% operational quality control of manufactured products has been implemented; each stator has a process data sheet. At the customer's request, bronze sheet sections can be used in the stator at the rotor bearing locations. Electric motors are filled with MDPN oil, or, upon request, with MDPN-S synthetic oil. Shafts and couplings with straight-sided or involute splines can be equipped with two temperature indicator plugs installed in the check valve. The design allows for installation with both single- and double-body hydraulic protection systems from all Russian manufacturers. All connection dimensions are standardized with those of leading Russian manufacturers.
