Description:
The induction heating unit (IHU) uses direct heating without an intermediate coolant for any chemical process requiring temperatures of 400–500°C. Heat is generated and evenly distributed directly within the wall of the vessel containing the heated substance. The unit operates at a frequency of 50 Hz. The equipment was originally designed for MINATOM facilities in Russia. It is used for reactors, autoclaves, extruders, molds, etc.
