Description:
Lindberg/MPH rotary hearth furnaces are continuous furnaces used primarily for gear hardening type applications that require process quenching. Available in electric or gas‑fired configurations, these furnaces operate at temperatures up to 1850°F (1010°C) to 2300°F (1260°C). They feature a rotating hearth with alloy or silicon carbide hearth plates, depending on the type of furnace and temperature. The furnaces are constructed with a continuously welded and reinforced steel shell, pneumatically operated door(s), and variable speed control. Gas‑fired versions include single‑ended recuperative radiant tubes. A water‑cooled oil seal is provided at the hearth. These complete systems are ready for operation and offer low operating costs and long component life.
