Hoyer is a Danish global supplier of high-performance and energy-efficient electric motors, drives, and control systems, founded in 1974 by Svend Hoyer. With dual headquarters in Hadsten, Denmark, and Ningbo, China, the company employs over 220 people and serves marine, energy, HVAC, industrial automation, and wind power sectors. Hoyer’s extensive product portfolio includes IE1–IE5 certified electric motors, EC motors (electronically commutated), medium voltage motors, explosion-proof (ATEX/IECEx) motors, brake motors, variable frequency drives, and automation solutions. In 2024, Hoyer reported record revenue of DKK 733 million (approx. EUR 98.3 million) and record adjusted EBITDA of DKK 110 million. IE4 motor volume increased by 161% year-on-year. The company holds ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications, as well as marine classification approvals from ABS, BV, CCS, DNV, KR, and RINA. In November 2025, Hoyer merged with VMS Group to form Hoyer VMS Group, creating a global one-stop partner for power and motion solutions. In 2024, Hoyer acquired NowiTek ApS, expanding its automation expertise.
