Insulator OSK-6-110-B-4 UHL1

OSK insulators are designed to insulate and fasten current-carrying parts in electrical apparatus and outdoor switchgear (OSG) of power plants and substations with a voltage of 6-220 kV. The insulators are manufactured in accordance with GOST R 52082-03 "Polymer support insulators of OSK, ONShp type". Service life is 30 years. Warranty period is 15 years. These insulators are characterized by high resistance to atmospheric and industrial pollution, acids and alkalis, ultraviolet radiation, tracking, electrical erosion. Fastening of insulator flanges with a fiberglass rod is carried out by radial crimping in a multi-jaw machine. Such a connection has improved mechanical characteristics compared to other types of connections. An ultrasonic sensor built into the machine allows detecting defects already at the production stage. The design of the insulator ensures high moisture resistance, due to the use of the following design and technological solutions: vulcanization of the protective shell on the insulating rod with pre-compressed flanges, casting of the inner and outer surfaces of the flanges with the use of moisture-proof locks on them.
